How to Set a Password If You Registered with Google

Updated over 3 months ago

If you registered using Google Sign-In, a password is not created automatically.
To fully manage your account, a password must be set manually.

This applies only if the account was created using the Sign in with Google option.
This also applies if a password reset is requested but no password was previously created.

To set a password, sign in to your account using Google Sign-In:

  • open your Account page

  • Scroll to the Personal Information section

  • Select Set a password, enter the new password, confirm it, and save the changes

After a password is set, login using email and password becomes available in addition to Google Sign-In.

  • Password reset emails will not work until a password has been created.

  • Setting a password is required to manage billing and security settings.
